This superb example of traditional architecture has been moved here and restored to provide a glimpse into the past.
You can pick up traditional craft items here as gifts or souvenirs, too.

:)Take a look at  “Hakata-ori” textile weaving demonstration!You can also experience weaving with Hakata textile masters! (Free) Open everyday From 11am~, 3pm~ (Free!)

:)Take a look at Craft making such as Hakata dolls and toys! Open everyday From 10am~, 2pm~ (Exhibition hall admission fee 200yen)

How to get there : Take a 30 minutes walk from Khaosan Fukuoka.
OR take a subway from Hakata station to Gion (2mins,100yen)+ 3 minutes walk.
OR take a bus #114 from Mizuho (just across the street from Khaosan Fukuoka) to Canal city Hakata (15mins, 180yen) + 1 minute walk.

It’s located right next to famous Kushida Shrine.
