Hakozaki Shrine

Hakozaki Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Fukuoka city.
Had been built in the center of Fukuoka prefecture in 921,
It moved to the current place in 923.
This shrine is one of the first rank of government supported shrines.
Tamaseseri festival in January and Hojoya festival in September at Hakozaki Shrine are well-known and attract many visitors.

Access :
Take a JR train from Hakata station to Hakozaki staion, 200yen 5min.
By subway, take subway from Hakata station to Hakozaki-Miyamae station,
250yen 15min. Transfer at Nakasu-Kawabata station is necessary.
