This is the only museum in the world that systematically collects and exhibits Asian modern and contemporary art.
Opened in 1999, this art museum has attracted strong interest not only in Japan but Asia and other countries because of its presentation of unique activities.

Access :
Take a subway from Hakata station to Nakasu-Kawabata staion, 3min 200yen. The musem is on 7th and 8th floor of Hakata Riverain Center Building.
