Busan (South Korea) ⇔ Fukuoka by Ferry

It’s so easy to travel between Busan (South Korea) and Fukuoka!

2 types of ferry available. Both arrive/depart at Hakata Port.  Below “Hakata” means Fukuoka.  No confusion!

:arrow:Camellia Line Ferry

This ferry runs only once per day . It takes about 6hours.

Depart Busan 8p.m. → Arrive Hakata 7:30a.m. (Overnight ferry)
Fare : 90000 KRW + oil surcharge (subject to condition) + terminal usage 3200 KRW.
Depart Hakata 12:30p.m. → Arrive Busan 6p.m.
Fare : 9000 JPY (7200JPY for students, student ID essential) + oil surcharge 800JPY (subject to condition) + terminal usage 500JPY must be paid in JPY cash

*Ticket fee can be paid by credit card or cash.
*Check-in must be done 90minutes before departure time.

Access from Hakata ferry port to JR Hakata station.
Take a bus, about 20minutes 220yen.
From JR Hakata station (bus stop E) to Hakata ferry port #.88
From Hakata ferry port to JR Hakata station #11, 19, 50.

:arrow:Beetle Jet foil

Beetle is a jet foils running 4 to 5 times per day (Usually 2 in the morning, 2 in the early afrernoon).It takes about 3hours.

Fare : Busan → Hakata 115000KRW + oil surcharge (subject to condition) + terminal usage 3200 KRW
Fare : Hakata → Busan  13000JPY (10400JPY for students, student ID essential) + oil surcharge 800JPY (subject to condition)+ terminal usage 500JPY must be paid in JPY cash

*Ticket fee can be paid by credit card or cash.
*Check-in must be done 45minutes before departure time.
