Kouisai is the festival of changing clothes for new season.
This festival is held twice a year, in April and November.
At this spring time, the god of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine changes his winter clothes to summer clothes.
It is performed stateliness at night.

Access : 2 ways to get there

・Take a subway from Hakata sta.to Tenjin sta.(6min,200yen).
Then take Nishitetsu train from Nishitetsu Fukuoka sta.to Dazaifu sta. (transfer　once at Futsukaichi sta.),(30min,390yen) As you get off the train, you will see the path to the shrine.

・Take a JR from Hakata to Futsukaichi sta.(25min,270yen) Walk to Nishitetsu Futsukaichi sta.(10min). Take a Nishitetsu train to Dazaifu sta.(5min,150yen), As you get off the train, you will see the path to the shrine.
