Beer makers all around Kyushu get gathered in Hakata!!
Taste as many kinds of beer as you can!!
700yen for each glass.
April 29th – May 8th
at Tsubame-no-mori Hiroba, on the rooftop of JR Hakata City.

Hakata Dontaku Festival, May. 3rd and 4th

Arita, in Saga prefecture, is well-known for ceramics.
On the Golden Week, Arita Ceramic Fair is held and
attracts more than a million people every year.
There are wares from reasonable price to very expensive one.
About 550shops stand on streets!!
This is 108th time!! A very long running festival!!

Fukuoka Castle Sakura Festival, Mar. 18th – Apr. 10th

this is a famous place for cherry blossoms .
Let’s walk through the cherry blossom trees and
enjoy one of the most beautiful seasons in Japan!!

Atago Sakura Festival, Mar. 19 – Apr. 17

The trees are lightened up at night.

The FIFO Pre-St. Patrick’s Day International Party, Mar. 12th

Kyushu Shinkansen Line Opening Ceremony, Mar. 11th – 13th

[ 2011/03/11; 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. 2011/03/12; 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. 2011/03/13; 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. ] Shinkansen line is lying on Kyushu Island!!
It only takes up to about 30min from Hakata to Kumamoto and about 80min from Hakata to Kagoshima!!

For this opening ceremony, there are many events going on from the 11th to 13th.
11th is the pre-opening, some brass bands perform in front of Hakata station.
Main event is the 12th!!
