About 6000 fireworks will attract you a lot!!

Summer Festival @ Dazaifu, July 24th and 25th
[ 2011/07/24 2:00 PM to 2011/07/25 8:50 PM. ] Summer Festival is held in Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine on July 24th and 25th.
Children carry MIKOSHI(a portable shrine) at noon.

The Hozuki Festival @ Atago Shrine, July 17th and 18th
[ 2011/07/17 8:00 AM to 2011/07/18 11:00 PM. ] The Hozuki (ground cherry) Festival is held in Atago Shrine on July 17th and 18th.
You can buy Belled hozuki there and the proceeds are going to the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami relief effort.
Some other events such as Yukata (Japanese Summer Kimono) Contest, Watermelon splitting and international cuisine give you a good time there!!

Fukuoka Asian Film Festival @ Daimyo and Nakasu, July 1st – 3rd and July 8th – 10th
