Nagasaki Lantern Festival @ Nagasaki City, February 10th – February 24th 2013

[ 2013/02/10 to 2013/02/24. ] Nagasaki’s historical ties with China are celebrated in this annual festival. 15,000 Chinese lanterns are placed throughout the city, shaped like Chinese historical figures, astrology symbols and more. Parades and performances from Chinese acrobats and lion dancers too!
