Sakura festival at Maizuru park

Maizuru park is built around the ruins of Fukuoka castle. This park is very famous for beautiful Sakura.Over 1000 Sakura trees are illuminated at night. Many local people visit this park and they enjoy Hanami under the Sakura tree. Let’t enjoy Hanami together!!!

Let’s enjoy a bicycle tour with an English teacher and a licensed

English tour guide.

We visit “TAKATORI-YAKI” Traditional Pottery,

HAKATA-ORI textile shop “HAKATA JAPAN” and HAKATA-BASAMI scissors

factory “TAKAYANAGI SHOTEN” and other points of interest and learn the

city and the English language.

Illuminate Sakura and Nanohana at night

Sakura season will come soon!!! Nokonooshima is a small island in Hakata bay.

This island is the nearest island from heart of Fukuoka city .

There is a big nature park, and many beautiful flowers are blooming at there.

They illuminate this whole Park for 4 nights, and you can enjoy the night view of Sakura and Nanohana!!

 

 

Venue: Nokonoshima island park

Period: March 31th, April 1st, 7th, 8th

Time: 17:30-20:00 (sakura light up hour)

Admission: Adult 500yen (17:30-20:00) or 1000yen( when you enter before 17:30)

Access:

Take a bus ♯9,301 or 302 at Hakata station(Hakata ekimae A) and get off at Noko ferry terminal(Meinohama, 40min, 420yen).

And take a ferry at Noko ferry terminal(Meinohama) to Noko ferry waiting terminal(Nokonoshima)(10min, 220yen).

And take a bus from “Noko tosenba mae” to” Nokonoshima island park”.

Atago Sakura Festival @ Atago Shrine, March 19th – April 17th

Atago shrine is a popular place to view cherry blossoms any time!!
The trees are lightened up at night.
